Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
BackThe Blue School's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Anna Honeyands.
If you are a parent/carer and have concerns about your child's learning and enjoyment of school around known or potential SEND, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Honeyands. Mrs Honeyands can be contacted via the school tel: 01749 678799 email: SENOffice@theblueschool.somerset.sch.uk.
If you are a student and want to talk to someone about help with your learning or support in school, please talk to your Tutor in the first instance. They will arrange for you to speak to the right person in school who can help you. This may be Mrs Honeyands or another member of staff in the school.
Mrs Honeyands is supported by Mrs Sally Chinn, SEND Team Administrator and Miss Katie Biddiscombe, SEND (EHCP) Administrator.
A team of Teaching Assistants work closely with students and staff across the school site, offering a range of tailored provision in class, in small groups or 1:1, depending on individual needs.
