The Blue School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) raises much-needed funds to contribute to the school and its enrichment. With the increasing financial pressures on schools across the country, the role that we play for The Blue School has never been more important.
NEXT EVENT/MEETING
Thursday 20th March 2025 - Meeting - Main Reception Staffroom. 6.00pm to 7.00pm - all parents/carers welcome.
We raise funds mainly through Glastonbury stewarding, the Blue School Lottery, and special events.
We are always keen to hear from parents/carers with bright new ideas and who would like to help. This can be volunteer time, in-kind skills, raffle prizes, sponsorship, corporate giving or anything else we haven't thought of!
Over recent years the PTA has proudly helped the school to purchase:
- New SMART teachers' presentation systems in Milton Classrooms.
- New Google ChromeBooks for data logging in Science
- Clocks throughout the school helping students and reducing anxiety around punctuality.
- Vital equipment for all teaching subjects across the school, including music stands and extra sets of text books that could not be afforded by the school
We want to not only continue but increase the funds we raise for The Blue School, and we need your help to do this. Harnessing the skills and connections that we know are out there amongst parents and carers will help your children and the school they attend to continue to thrive.

Too busy already?
You can buy a Blue School Lottery ticket for yourself or a friend on SCOPAY. Winning tickets are drawn quarterly. The lottery alone has raised over £2,000 over the last year towards school fund-raising campaigns.
